Six players in your (and everyone’s) fantasy league

Your fantasy league. The pinnacle of sports fandom and total nerdery. Fantasy football season is that special time of year for you to get together with like-minded people who really care (okay, obsess) about football as much as you do (and maybe you’ve been accused of obsessing a little too much?). The Star Student

This guy shows up to the draft with a pile of guides thicker than a phone book. He’ll spend every minute of every round poring through his print-outs to pick the Patriots’ backup kicker in the 14^th round, so get ready to hurry up and wait.

The Commish

Someone has to be in charge. Good thing you have your commissioner, whose cooler head always prevails and can be counted on to keep the group together when someone tries to trade Tom Brady, Le’Veon Bell, and Julio Jones for Ezekiel Elliott.

Mr. Over-Enthusiastic

Hope you don’t mind the constant emails filling up your inbox when this guy won’t stop trying to make moves. It doesn’t matter if you ignore them, he’ll just keep sending ‘em. Is it cool to mark him as spam?

The Hermit

Is he still even in the league? You never hear from this guy. But every year he’s running his team perfectly while everyone else is making noise, and come playoff time there he is, right on top. He’s like the silent killer.

The Downer

“Stupid pick, dude.” “Are you trying to tank your team?” If you felt like having every move criticized, you’ve come to the right place. Maybe it’s time for this person to go.

The Homer

When the draft is over, this player’s team will virtually mirror the home-team’s NFL roster. Every pick, every position, is going to be a Dallas Cowboy, even in years the team is terrible.
